Very cool vintage store with a ton of unique and interesting things to buy. I was lucky enough to scoop this lamp at a pretty fair price. Worth popping in and checking out. The owner is also a very friendly guy who is knowledgeable about the inventory. Everything seems to have a story there which is what you kinda want from a vintage store.

Such a cool and unique shop!!! So many one of a kind antiques that would be hard to find anywhere else. Melissa and Dave are amazing and I'm so glad we got to stop in. I even got some cool glasses that I know I'll be using quite a bit!! It's a definite must to stop if you are looking for something to be a conversation piece at your home.

Great shop packed to the brim with treasures. The owners are super friendly, and knowledgeable. Great vintage stereos in perfect working condition, cool furniture, lamps, artwork, and small odds and ends too which I just love! Drinking glasses and vintage Pyrex and serving pieces. Best of all, welcoming owners who are excited to share the details and history of their wares. Very reasonable prices. I will be back again and again! Great addition to the neighborhood.

Harlequin Vintage Chicago (HVC) is a Chicago-based vintage store offering a wide variety of quality eclectic items, hand selected to appeal to the diverse tastes of our vintage loving clients.

Our evolving vintage selections consist of custom-made projector lamps, furniture, stereos, paintings/art & sculptures, glassware, collectibles/memorabilia, barware, swung vases, records/vinyl, clothing, purses, costume jewelry, table lamps, floor lamps, hanging/swag lights, rain lamps, ashtrays, & housewares.

While the items we showcase span many era's, we specialize in Mid Century and Atomic Era furniture and collectibles.

HVC offers free local pickup and buyer-paid shipping.

Our Story...

David and Melissa’s vintage partnership was set in motion during the summer of 2022. Melissa purchased Davids atomic teak starburst clock – the same day Melissa spied a rare blue Blenko decanter from Dave’s collection which she had to have.

Savoring her new purchases Melissa glanced around Dave’s place and bells starting going off in her head. She realized that Dave had a great sense of style, a unique collection of eclectic vintage items AND he was skilled at repairing vintage electronics…triple BONUS.

While she knew they both had major vintage lamp “problems” the majority of their collections and inventory (vintage electronics, table lamps, hanging lamps, furniture, beer-themed collectibles, hanging oil lamps, clocks, radios, housewares, barware, clothing, purses, consume jewelry, swung glass, blown glass, light-up paintings, oil paintings, water color paintings, decor, mechanical devices & quackery) dovetailed well together, without much overlap.

David’s 10 years of vintage collecting and online (and in-person) selling experience, paired with Melissa’s 35+ years of vintage collecting was about to meld together in the best possible way.They decided to join vintage super forces, renting some shared storage space.

Soon, they were helping each other with their individual sales, partnering up on merchandise acquisition, research, pricing, packing, shipping AND customer support. David and Melissa’s successful vintage buying and selling partnership led to the conceptual formation of Harlequin Vintage, their Chicago-based retail concept in the Spring of 2022.
